Doris Day - Que Sera Sera
I once wrote the phrase “se la vi” in a note to a friend. Sarah saw this and asked what I’d meant.
“Se la vi…like ‘what will be will be’ in Spanish,” I explained.
Sarah then relayed to me the following facts:
- it’s spelled “c’est la vie”
- it means “such is life” or “that’s life”
- it’s French
- I probably meant “que sera sera”
- I’m an idiot
Thanks Sarah!
