Iowa has a constitutional amendment up for adoption in the upcoming election.

It changes Section 5 of Article II from this:

An idiot or insane person or a person convicted of any infamous crime shall not be entitled to the privilege of an elector.

To this:

A person adjudged mentally incompetent to vote or a person convicted of any infamous crime shall not be entitled to the privilege of an elector.

I’d tell you how I voted but then it wouldn’t count.
