Democrats across the country are scrambling for reasons to hate Sarah Palin, McCain’s newly announced running mate, and so far they’ve been hard to come by. She’s the first female Republican vice presidential candidate, a self-described “hockey mom” and most definitely NOT a Washington insider.
I think many on the Democratic side are suffering from a case of envy. The change candidate, Barack, made the textbook choice in Joe Biden as his running mate. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with Biden, it just wasn’t an exciting choice.
I have a shocking suggestion for the jealous Left: Instead of looking for personal or superficial reasons to hate someone, why not stick to the issues? The majority of the country continues to agree more with the Democratic platform. Keep the discussion there and we may have a chance at the respectful campaign promised by both candidates.
P.S. I’m sorry this is counter to my plea for respect above, but it has to be said…MILF.
