It is difficult to understand the damage in Cedar Rapids, IA without closing studying these pictures. There are bridges entirely underwater in the lower left hand side. There is also a collapsed rail bridge. In the lower right hand of the picture you can see the water is up and nearly over single story buildings. Pictured in the center of this image is the downtown area, including a Quaker Oats factory, the IMAX theatre, the city’s tallest building, the US Bank building (where I interned two summers ago) and many, many more. via The Big Picture
