Sleep deprivation is not a badge of honor

There are plenty of other instances where people (me included) are proud of foolish things:

- Success without hard work
- Success despite a lack of preparation
- Heavy drinking or partying
- Tolerance for alcohol due to above
- A near death experience as the result of a dangerous personal choice
- The size of a house, car or boat
