I was driving home from Cedar Rapids tonight and got a speeding ticket (something about doing 81 in a 55). So I’ll be donating $100 to Marshall County in a month’s time. When I arrived home, I parked on the street. I went down to move my car a few hours later and witness, WITNESS, someone throwing a beer can at my car from a fourth floor balcony, shattering my rear window.I tried to run upstairs as fast as I could to confront them but was too late. The police of course gave the usual “we’ll let you know if we find anything” routine. $600 for a new window? My car isn’t worth that unless you count sentimental value…which I’m not.Crap.
