QQ: What is the fastest "0 to global" brand?
dihard:Basically, what brand (company, product, person, any entity that holds a brand identity) do you think gained awareness the fastest. Reblog your answer, if you’re so inclined. TBC Monday (taking a snowboard trip to Stowe this weekend) I first thought about consumer product brands. The first thing to pop into my head was Google (because they beat so many other growth records) but they still...

New URL's →
I keep up with teh internets using Google Reader (that’s RSS). Every time someone switches their blog to a new URL, I get a spew of their 10 most recent posts in my inbox. I’m not complaining - I actually enjoy being able to track people’s domain habits that way. And What I Learned Today is the latest to spew all over my GReader. The name of the blog is self-explanatory - she...

Super! Delegates
I came across Hillary Clinton’s new propaganda website today: Delegate Hub (Seriously, the one domain name I haven’t registered. What was I thinking.) Hillary is actually lobbying to have the delegates from Michigan and Florida seated at the national convention, despite the Democratic National Committee ruling long ago that they wouldn’t be counted. Neither Hillary nor her...

I had a job interview yesterday. They asked me what salary I expected or had anticipated for this job. I didn’t provide an answer, saying rather that I wasn’t in search of salary but a job that was engaging and rewarding. I guess at least one expert thinks I made the right choice.
The World's Greatest Music Collection →
Someone is selling what is to be considered the world’s largest music collection…on eBay. The starting bid is $3,000,000 and over 3 million records and 300,000 CDs are included. I can’t wait to see the final going price. The folks over at bOING bOING are having a blast in their comments section.
On Productivity
Since my graduation last fall I’ve undertaken what I might consider a graduate program in productivity. I have read all the information I could get my hands on regarding the topic. It began with Lifehacker, which at last count was the 6th most popular blog on the web. They led me to the teachings of David Allen and Getting Things Done (or GTD, as they call it in the cult). I also read...

– McCain leads handily, Dems deadlocked after contests
“Best regards and have an unique weekend!” That’s how someone I’ve hired to do web work signed off in an email. What a great tagline! Arturo, does that slogan come w/ the final HTML and PHP files?

The Ultimate PO Box - Earth Class Mail →
Sometimes I find myself more fascinated with the best way to do business rather than actually doing business. I can’t wait to utilize this service…when I need it.
Trying to Connect the Dinner Plate to Climate... →
This article is written largely from a voice of doubt but I think the point made by animal rights groups is extremely valid.

The Mountain Goats do Super Tuesday
This song by The Mountain Goats combines two of my loves: indie rock and politics. Down to the Ark The candidates met up in North Dakota And they donned their black robes there in the chapel hall They said a brief invocation to their cloven-hoofed prince And they signed their names in blood on the vestry wall ...
Clinton Makes January Haul Public →
Hillary Clinton’s January fundraising totals were released. The grand total: “about 13 million”. Normally, this would be HUGE. Unfortunately for Hillary, Barack had already announced that his January haul was $32 million, two and a half times what Clinton raised.
